Good overall experience. The hotel with clean rooms, in a nice enough area, so close to Ubungo bus terminal which takes like 10 minutes drive. Amazingly kind, flexible people working here. Satisfactory breakfast with a lot of choices. The pool area is nice too. Late check-out.

Being centrally located in the heart of the city, it provides easy access to various attractions and amenities.

The AC didn't work most of the night and there was no fan.

The room was cheap and clean, it had a shower, a bidet, and bath sheets. Had private bathroom with all essentials. The location in a fairly nice area was particularly good and comfy and there were a big shopping mall and a market nearby.

Hot water issue - misleading information.

The rooms at Travellers Home were great. The fully equipped private bathroom with a bidet and free toiletries made us feel like we were staying in a luxurious hotel. The private entrance was a nice touch, giving us a sense of privacy. The cable TV in the double room kept the kids entertained, and the tile/marble floor made the room feel clean and fresh. we loved the modern and comfortable feel of the rooms.

Personally, I found the satellite TV in the single room a bit unnecessary. But hey, different strokes for different folks!

The staff was incredibly helpful and friendly during my stay. They went above and beyond to make sure I had a comfortable experience. The owner personally picked me up from the airport and even accompanied me to the mall when I felt unsure. The next morning, she prepared a delicious breakfast and arranged for a driver to take me to the bus terminal. Their assistance and hospitality were truly outstanding. Additionally, the location of the hotel was great, with a bar and shops nearby, as well as a mall within a 10-minute walk.
